This example shows a Maximus model of a single well tieback to a fixed platform. Oil and gas are produced from a reservoir through a completion and up a tubing string to the subsea production tree. Thereafter, the fluids flow through the jumper to a manifold (for tie-in of additional future wells), along a 5 km export pipeline and finally up a 100m riser to a fixed platform. The fluids are delivered to the slug catcher at a pressure of 25 bara and the initial reservoir pressure is 300 bara. The initial flow rate is predicted to be about 14 kg/s which for this fluid is equivalent to approximately 8000 bbl/d.
